Special Guest Star Randy Jones will portray " a psychiatrist who may need help himself" in this sexy and intimate play that explores the relationship between an actor stuggling to survive in NYC and a hot pornstar who loves him. THE MADONNA WHORE...Confessions of a Dirty Mind will be performed at The Producers Club in NYC.  Opening Press Night is Thursday November 30 at 8PM.

One of the most beloved entertainers and pop icons from the Disco era, American Music Award winner Randy Jones came to embody The Cowboy in Village People in a way that has captured the public imagination for decades.

As renowned entertainment writer Liz Smith's choice of all the Village People to achieve individual fame, Randy has been showered with commendations in his career, including the Georgie Award ( presented by the American Guild of Variety Artists), multiple BILLBOARD MAGAZINE DANCE FORUM AWARDS, the prestigious GOLDEN LION, Canada's JUNO, The Radio Television Luxemborg RTL DIAMOND AWARD, Germany's BRAVO AWARDS and the Holy Grail of Rock & Roll, the cover of ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE.

"RJ" has sold in excess of 100 million units in his recording career. He has starred in the motion pictures "Three Long Years" "Facade", " A Tale About Bootlegging", "Lawn of the Dead", and "Can't Stop The Music", among others. In NYC he has starred in the musicals "Bingo City" with Anita Gillette , "Sodom: The Musical" with Jonathan Kaplan, and toured in "Meet Me in St. Louis" with Cathy Rigby, "Carousel" with Ed Ames, and "Funny Girl" with Carol Lawrence, "Music Man", "Chicago", "Will Rogers Follies" and "42nd Street".

“The Madonna Whore; Confessions of a Dirty Mind” is the sequel to Tim Douglas’ successful one man show “Learning Alphabet City”. Eric Thal (A Stranger Among Us, Six Degrees of Separation) will be directing and Randy Jones (formerly of The Village People) will have a unique role as a psychiatrist who may need therapy himself. Stevie Salgood ( Tim Douglas) an actor who is tormented by his version of the Madonna Whore complex is on the verge of making it after twenty years. He is infatuated with a former porn star, Gina Gash (Hannah Snyder-Beck,) who is making an attempt to make it as a mainstream actress. He knows falling in love may become a distraction at just the wrong time….but he falls anyway. Produced by Greg Krauza and Twinstar Productions, The Madonna Whore is insightful, sexy, funny and gives a raw glimpse of the life of an actor trying to make it on the "The Great White Way".

The show will open at the Producers Club, 358 West 44th Street (between 8th and 9th) on Wednesday, Nov 29 .
